Meet at 10am for a 10:30am launch.

This is a member run, weekly kayak and a chance to meet other paddlers. The socials will vary depending on the weather and the group, from just a nice easy paddle to slightly more strenuous. The group will stay together for the social.

Guests & new members: You may bring a guest who has kayak paddling experience (remember you are responsible for guests & equipment you sign out). NEW MEMBERS ARE WELCOME (provided you have kayaking experience)! Check with the Kayak Director to see if someone might be able to sign you out as a guest and that you have suitable skills to join the social paddle.

Please register for the event, and cancel if you can't make it so others know if they will have company. Please check if others are registered before turning up, unless you're happy to paddle alone.

Please join us at our fall General Meeting. The purposes of this meeting are to

provide a brief recap of the season, and
confirm our leadership team for next year

This meeting will be online on Zoom - you will receive a link for the meeting in your confirmation email upon registration.

This notification is also the official call for nominations for the board. We are a working board - each member is a director of our not-for-profit society and in addition has specific responsibilities for helping to operate some aspect of the club.

If you are interested in volunteering for a board position, please contact Commodore as soon as possible - we will contact you to provide more information. The call for volunteers/nominations will close on Thursday October 31, 2026.

Each guest using ClubLocarno vessels must first register here; please register EACH time that you use our facilities as a guest. If your email is recognized by the system, please go ahead use the form to submit another registration under the same email - no need to log in.

When you register, please be sure to complete the process by selecting CONFIRM and getting to the green message.

By Completing this Guest Registration and clicking on the Waiver you are agreeing to the following:

Club Locarno Gift Certificate (31 Dec 2026)

This is where you can purchase a gift certificate from Club Locarno. The person who receives this gift can apply it to their Club Locarno base membership, fleet selection and/or lessons. This gift certificate cannot be applied to their Jericho Sailing Centre Membership. Please note that all Club Locarno members MUST also be members of the Jericho Sailing Centre.

Windsurf Offsite Pass - Pre-approval Application Form (31 Dec 2026)

Click Register to apply for onetime pre-approval for the High Wind Offsite Pass.

The Windsurf Director will review the application, per the Windsurf Offsite Pass, and your membership profile will be updated accordingly.

Subsequent to approval granted, members may purchase/renew the following variations of offsite pass:

Full offsite season pass (board plus rig)
Rig-only offsite season pass (less expensive, use your own board)
Single Day Rental

Canoe Checkout (31 Dec 2026)

Canoe checkout

The canoe is available for Club Locarno members who are members of, and checked-out, on SUP, Kayak/Surfski or Rowing fleets. To check out for the canoe, you must read the canoe usage guidelines and rules, and confirm that you have done so.

To checkout on the canoe - contact the Club Locarno Kayak Director at kayaking@clublocarno.com

Once you are checked for the canoe you can paddle from JSCA, or, for a nominal fee, rent the canoe for off-site use.
